Tent Information:

You may NOT bring your own tent.  Penn’s Landing has a corporate policy that you have to rent tents through us and they will install them.  You must order through us.   Tents will be delivered along with our order the morning of the festival.

This is NOT the festival's policy, we are not happy about it either.  It is Penn’s Landing's Policy so if you have any questions about equipment rentals, contact Shelvia Williams by telephone at (215) 629-3247 or swilliams@DelawareRiverWaterfrontCorp.com.

CONFIRMATIONS AND CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS

Confirmations and Checking in Instructions will be posted by May 29.   Do not fax in your application.  Only applications with payments will be accepted for approval.  Deadlines for discounts are above.   Check-in at the Great Plaza is 10 a.m. If you get a tent, you will also get one 8 foot table and 2 chairs.  Anything else you will have to bring or order and pay for more.

You are responsible for leaving your tables and chairs at the tent at the end of the day.  Non returned tables cost $100.00, lost chairs are $ 25.00 each.

RAIN DATES AND VENDOR FEES

There is no rain date.  Vendor fees are non-refundable should the festival be canceled or shortened due to inclement weather.  Vendor Fees will not be refunded if you decide to cancel or not show up.

FOOD & ALCOHOL

You Are Not Permitted To Sell Food or Alcoholic Beverages!

Vendors pre-registering for food sales may sell or otherwise distribute food, food products, baked goods or beverages.  Food vendors must comply with Health Department food handling requirements.  You must provide the Festival Committee with a copy of your Liability Insurance naming us as an additional insured for the date of the event !  Food vendors are only permitted to sell products not being sold by established Penn’s Landing Food vendors.  You must let us know what you intend to sell and we can get back to you whether it is a permitted food item.  You must be registered as a food vendor to sell water, tea, soda, juice, cookies, coffee, cakes, sandwiches, salads, platters and any item considered food.

The Philadelphia Irish Festival is a Licensed Event!

As the organizing committee, we reserve the right to remove anyone from the festival that is not conforming to our reasonable restrictions.  We reserve the right to prohibit the display of any signs, articles or products that in our sole opinion are not in keeping with the nature of the Irish Festival.

We ask you to read this information and the application carefully.

Every year there are new items that must be addressed, so we ask you to read this information and the application carefully.

To avoid confusion on the day of the festival, please inform your vendors that DASANI water and Coca-Cola soft drinks will be the  only domestic brand permitted on-site and at vending locations and they must provide their staff with DASANI water and Coca-Cola products as beverage refreshments.

Vendors will not be allowed to say “This Poland Spring / Deer Park / Aquafina / Store Brand water is for my staff".  Vendors who bring non Coca-Cola brand beverages on-site will be told to remove the product from their vending location; vendors who do not comply may be removed from the premises.

The Irish Festival is one day only, Sunday, June 2, 2013.  We hope that the condensed format permits more organizations and vendors to participate.  Organizations will only have to get volunteers to run their space for a limited time and vendors will not have to close down their home operation for an entire weekend.

No application is “received” unless it is accompanied by payment.  Do not fax in an application.  Deadlines are posted to submit your applications.   Payments on the day of the event are $500.00 CASH ONLY.  There are no exceptions.  It is not fair to those who apply early to offer the same price to those who wait to see what the weather forecast will be.

The event will be open from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  There will be plenty of entertainment on the main stage and food tent areas.  There will be plenty to drink and eat.  There will be a free children’s fun zone.

All vendors and organizations are going to be given an assigned space – assigned by the festival committee.  Repeat vendors and early applications will be given preference on location, although no location is really bad on the Great Plaza.

If you register for a space, you will be assigned a 10’ by 10’ location.  You will be confined to that space and will not be permitted to spread out.  If you need an additional space, it must be purchased.   You will be given one 8 foot table and 2 chairs.

We do not supply electricity or running water.

Parking permits are not available to vendors.    Please do not ask.    You must pay Penn’s Landing to park on their lots SAME AS THE ORGANIZERS.
